ACADEMY

The Academy program is a supplemental program -- an extra practice offered during the week after school, or on Saturdays, led by a professional trainer.  These clinics are intended for the player who wants to learn more and has a passion for soccer!  There is a fall Academy, a winter Academy, and a spring Academy  -- and you can register separately for each one.

WINTER 2 - 2024 ACADEMY

  • Academy: 7 weeks, $210, running January 3st through March 23rd.  There will be no Academy  2/21, 2/22, 2/23.

  • This program is first come, first served and fills up very quickly so don't wait to register!  If Academy is full, add your child to the waitlist. 

  • There are no make-ups for missed or cancelled sessions. NO REFUNDS.

  • All sessions are run by a professional coach.

  • A "Parent in Charge" (PIC) is required at each Academy session.  Parents are required to serve as Parent in Charge (PIC) for at least 1 session.  If you are unable to attend your assigned PIC date, it is your responsibility to find a replacement. PIC sign up is sent out shortly before the beginning of the season.

  • Players must have sneakers or turf shoes, shin guards, and water (no cleats allowed at Armonk Indoor).

  • Players must be actively registered with a BHSC Rec or Travel Team to sign up.  Travel Select and Developmental players are not eligible for this Academy as spots are reserved for players who do not have weekday coaching included in their program.

  • Players may only sign up for one Academy program for the winter session due to space constraints.

  • Registration for Winter 2 opens 1/7 @ 9pm.  Please be sure to have your login details for BYGA and a Visa or Mastercard.

Wednesday and Thursday sessions take place at Armonk Indoor.  Saturday will be in the BHHS gym.

 

*Please note that the district will not be providing an activity bus to Armonk Indoor for the winter session.  You will have to provide transportation for your child.*

 

U6 Coed (birth year 2018):  Wednesdays 4:00 - 5:00

U7/8 Girls (birth years 2016-2017):  Wednesdays 4:00 - 5:00

U7/8 Boys (birth years 2016-2017):  Wednesdays 4:00 - 5:00

U10 Coed (birth years 2014-2015):  Thursdays 4:00 - 5:00

U7/8 Boys (birth years 2016-2017):  Fridays 4:00 - 5:00

U6 Coed (birth year 2018):  Saturdays 1:00 - 2:00

U7/8 Girls (birth years 2016-2017):  Saturdays 2:00 - 3:00

U7/8 Boys (birth years 2016-2017):  Saturdays 2:00 - 3:00

Wednesday run dates: 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/28, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20

Thursday run dates: 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/29, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21

Saturdays run dates:  2/10, 2/17, 2/24, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23

**If you sign up for the wrong program age group, you will not be able to transfer based on program capacity.
